Lyvve Coach - User Pedestal (Control Panel)

Lyvve Coach - User Pedestal (Control Panel)

The User Control Panel (UCP or User Pedestal) is a metal box mounted on the Lyvve Coach chassis near the front of the trailer. The UCP is how the user will control most functions of the Lyvve Coach.

The Rotation Pin can be pulled out to allow the user to rotate the entire UCP to provide some flexibility of where the user wants to stand at the trailer to use the system.

CONNECTION PANEL
The Connection Panel is where the user will plug in audio/video sources as well as other Lyvve Coach accessories such as 8K Replay:

HDMI INPUT 1 – Plug in an HDMI video source such as a laptop, gaming console, Blu-ray player, etc.
HDMI INPUT 2 – Plug in another HDMI video source.
AUDIO INPUT – Plug in an audio source. The Lyvve Coach does not have built in speakers, so any audio that is plugged in here will need to be connected to speakers from the AUDIO OUTPUT connection.
SDI INPUT – Plug in an SDI source such as a mastRcam or other camera.
LAN – The LAN port here is to connect the 8K Replay case to the Lyvve Coach, but this port can also be used for troubleshooting.
AUDIO OUTPUT – Plug in speakers here in order to hear the audio from the AUDIO INPUT source.
CASE POWER – If using the 8K Replay case, this is where to connect the power cord in order to get power to 8K Replay.

FRONT CONTROL PANEL
The Front Control Panel has several buttons that allows the user to control all functions of the Lyvve Coach:

RAISE – Press and hold this button to raise the mast.
LOWER – Press and hold this button to lower the mast. Make sure lids on your boxes are closed and that the LED board rests on the LED board saddles (See page 4) if the Lyvve Coach needs to travel.
HDMI 1 – Press this button to show your HDMI INPUT 1 video source up onto the LED board.
HDMI 2 – Press this button to show your HDMI INPUT 2 video source up onto the LED board.
SDI 1 – Press this button to show your SDI INPUT video source up onto the LED board.
POWER – This button turns on/off the Lyvve Coach. A light will appear on the button when the system is turned ON.
MUTE – Press this button to video mute the LED board. It’s important to note that this only mutes the video and not audio.

There’s also a volt meter on this panel that indicates the current voltage of the auxiliary battery that’s used to power the hydraulic pump for raising/lowering the mast. The battery is equipped with a charger that will constantly keep the battery charged while in use. But if notice the volt meter drop below 12.0, please call 8K Support so we can determine if the battery is going to need to be replaced or if there’s something wrong with the battery charger.
