Lyvve Coach - Powering the System

The Lyvve Coach requires, at minimum, to power on the system:
  1. (2) 20amp power circuits with 12-gauge power cords
    1. (2) 50’ power cords are provided with the Lyvve Coach
  1. OR (1) 6500 watt inverter generator
    1. A Y-splitter power cord is provided to connect the generator to the Lyvve Coach
  2. OR (2) 3500 watt inverter generators
While it is possible to power the Lyvve Coach with only a single circuit, you will not be able to achieve full brightness and may trip your circuit breaker. Also, it is highly recommended to use the 12-gauge power cords that come with the trailer, but if they become damaged or lost, please call 8K Solutions Support and we will send you replacements. If you use power cords that are either too long or less than 12-gauge in size, you run the risk of underpowering your trailer which could cause the LED board to reboot or flicker during usage.

If you need to replace the generator, please be advised that the trailer requires an inverter generator and not just any generator.

To connect power to the trailer, there are two power inlets on the outside of the storage box:

  1. Shore Power – Plug in both of the included 50’ 12-gauge power cords from your power outlets to the BUS A and BUS B connections on the trailer. Reminder – You must use separate 20amp power circuits otherwise you risk tripping your circuit breaker.
  2. Generator Power (Single Generator) – Use the included Y-splitter power cord to connect power from your generator into both the BUS A and BUS B connections on the trailer.
  3. Generator Power (2 Generators) – Use both of the included 50’ 12-guage power cords from each generator to the BUS A and BUS B connections on the trailer.

The green power LEDs for each BUS will light up if power is connected.
