Some users will take down the cameras and housings after each practice and store them in a secure location, and others opt to just leave the cameras and housings installed. If you need to remove the camera housings from the top of the mast:
Push in the safety pin from the housing and lift up. To prevent the safety pin from re-latching, you may want to twist the camera housing slightly so the safety pin is not engaged in one of the holes at the top of the mast. Then when lifting the housing, shuffle slightly side by side until the black thermoplastic Delrin block is removed from the mast. Since the camera housing has an awkward center of gravity, make sure you are holding the housing tightly when it is released from the mast.
Alternately, you can place the domes on the housings and then bag them. This solution will protect the cameras from rain, but keep in mind the extra height of the trailer if you plan to store the mastRcam SC in a garage or storage area.
