mastRcam (Before Practice) - Systems Check / Functionality

Before raising the mast, we want to make sure functionally all the equipment is working.
1. Turn on power – Turn the red power knob on the console dashboard to the ON position. The inverter controller should turn on immediately where the cameras, controllers, monitors, and recorders may take a few seconds to fully boot up.
2. Verify video from camera – A minute or so after powering on the mastRcam, you should see video from your camera on both the UMR-20 and monitor
3. Verify camera control – After verifying you have video, make sure the camera controller is able to control the camera. Make sure you can pan, tilt, and zoom.
4. Verify recording – Put an SD card in the UMR-20 recorder and make sure you can record video. Make sure the red record button near the camera controller and the record button on the actual UMR-20 both are able to stop/start recording.
5. Check voltage – Observe the volt meter on the console dashboard.
a. If the trailer has a full battery charge AND still plugged into shore power, it should be reading 13.1 – 14.3
b. If the trailer has a full battery charge but NOT currently plugged into shore power, it should be reading at least 12.3
c. If your voltage is below 11.6 and NOT currently plugged into shore power, you might experience issues attempting to raise the mast. Typically, you should be able to get through two days of practices before needing to recharge the mastRcam, but if your voltage is below 11.6, you may want to consider plugging in shore power during practice if you experience power issues.
