mastRcam SC (Before Practice) - Quick Safety Check

With the mastRcam SC leveled and secured, the next step is to perform a quick safety check:

1. Check for cracks in the chassis – Especially check for cracks in welds connecting the stabilizer legs and wheel jack to the aluminum chassis, as those locations obviously are critical for safety (see image below). 

 

1. Check the collars on the mast – Using your hands, attempt to twist or rotate each collar on the mast (with the mast in the down position). If they are able to move an 1/8” or greater, the mast may not be safe to use. Please call 8K Support immediately at 321-804-8211.
2. Check for missing or loose screws & bolts – There are a lot of screws and bolts on the mastRcam SC and this could pose a safety concern if any mounting screws and bolts are loose or missing. Re-tighten any loose screws and bolts, and call 8K Support if anything is missing or you have any concerns.
