mastRcam (Before Practice) - Quick Safety Check

With the mastRcam leveled and secured, the next step is to perform a quick safety check:

1. Check for cracks in the chassis – Especially check the aluminum chassis area next to the steps, as those locations obviously get a lot of foot traffic (see image below).
   

 

1. Check the collars on the mast – Using your hands, attempt to twist or rotate each collar on the mast (with the mast in the down position). If they are able to move an 1/8” or greater, the mast be not be safe to use. Please call 8K Support immediately at 321-804-8211.
2. Check for missing or loose screws & bolts – There are a lot of screws and bolts on the mastRcam, and this could pose a safety concern if any mounting screws and bolts are loose or missing. Re-tighten any loose screws and bolts, and call 8K Support if anything is missing or you have any concerns.
