mastRcam (Before Practice) - Placing the mastRcam in Desired Location

When determining where to place your mastRcam you’ll need to consider the following:
  1. Slope of the ground. Ideally, you want the ground to be as flat and level as possible, but some minor sloping is okay since you’ll be leveling the trailer with the stabilizer legs. You don’t want too much sloping because it’ll put strain on the mast and could cause tipping hazards.
  2. No mast obstructions above the mastRcam.
  3. Not in direct path of sprinkler system. This is only necessary if you’ll be leaving the mastRcam outside overnight or whenever the field is being watered. Even though the mastRcam is designed to be used outdoor and therefore has protection against rain, sprinkler systems are generally too powerful and could get water inside the protected areas and damage the electronics.
  4. Possible netting obstruction. This is for endzone locations where netting might be used and could possibly affect your video shots.
The mastRcam has a trailer hitch with a 2” ball, so you can hook up with a utility vehicle such as a Gator to make it easier to bring the mastRcam to its desired location. When towing the mastRcam, make sure not to travel over very bumpy terrain or over curbs as a large amount of jarring and vibration could cause damage or loosen bolts/screws which could cause safety concerns.
