Lyvve Coach - Multiple LED Panels Completely Black or Not Showing Video
If an entire row of LED panels (Or a large portion of panels) is completely black or not showing video, but the rest of the LED board is fine, this is most likely a data cable issue. Ethernet cables connect each LED cabinet to each other in a daisy chain, so if one cable is loose, damaged, or disconnected, all LED cabinets from that point on will all go black. To fix this:
- First, check the Power/Connection button on the rear side of the LED cabinets to make sure it is blinking red once a second and in sync with all the other LED cabinets. Some panels may have red and green lights.
- If the cabinets that are not showing video also do not have a blinking red LED on the Power/Connection button, then check the power cables to make sure they are not loose, damaged, or disconnected.
- Reseat the ethernet cable that is connected to the two cabinets where one cabinet shows video and the next one is black. See example picture below:
