Guide - 8K Camera Mount for Lifts

The following guide provides step by step instructions on how to use the 8K camera mounting system to mount the structure onto a standard lift:

MOUNTING CAMERA

1) Extend the mount to the closest possible setting to grip the lift railings, refer to compatibility chart for orientation of mount for the lift. Centered to the railing of the lift.

2) Clamp the front and rear braces with the provided bar clamps to the railing.

3) Use 2 of the provided straps to strap the front cross brace to the bucket railing. Depress the clip on the strap and loop the other end through the clip, make sure there are no kinks when doing so. Ensure that the straps are tightened all the way.
***Warning: make sure there are no kinks in the strapping***

4) Take 2 of the provided straps and hook the rear cross brace to the corners of the buckets to prevent the mount from sliding.

5) Attach the camera to the mount, using the provided wingnuts and washers.

6) Attach the carabiner from the safety cable on the camera to the strut on the camera mount.

7) Pass the umbilical through the weather cover, XLR connector first.

8) Connect umbilical to camera. See below for where to plug in the connections.
