3D Playbook - Minimum & Recommended PC Specs

The following shows the minimum and recommended PC specs in order to run 3D Playbook.

USER PC REQUIREMENTS
Minimum:
• Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11 64bit OS
• Processor: 12th gen or later i5/i7 Intel processor 1.8 GHz or better, Dual Core+
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• Storage: 256 GB available space, M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
• Graphics: Dedicated GPU required with 2GB Dedicated Memory
o Recommended Nvidia 20xx series (GTX 2060+)
Average:
• Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11 64bit OS
• Processor: 13th gen or later i7/i9 Intel processor 2.4 GHz or better, Quad Core+
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• Storage: 256 GB available space, M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
• Graphics: Dedicated GPU required with 4GB Dedicated Memory
o Recommended Nvidia 30xx series (GTX 3060+)
Best:
• Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11 64bit OS
• Processor: 14th gen i9 Intel processor 3.6 GHz or better, Octa Core+
• Memory: 32 GB RAM
• Storage: 256 GB available space, M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
• Graphics: Dedicated GPU required with 8GB Dedicated Memory
o Recommended Nvidia 40xx series (GTX 4070+)

NETWORK AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Allow “3D Playbook.exe”, “3DPlaybookInstaller.exe”, “3DPlaybookDatabaseInstaller.exe”, and “3DPlaybookLauncher.exe” through local firewall
• Enable port 443 (HTTPS) outbound
• Allow access to https://google.com for internet connection check
• Allow access to https://3dpbxml2.azurewebsites.net (8K’s cloud server for users to download plays)
• Allow access to https://3dpb.azurewebsites.net (8K’s licensing server)
• If the 3D Playbook database is shared amongst multiple users, it must be placed on a shared network folder available to all user client PCs and with read/write access.

SERVER REQUIREMENTS
• Operating System: Windows 10, Windows 11, Server 2019, or Server 2022
• Processor: 12th gen or later i7/i9 Intel processor 2.4 GHz or better
• Memory: 32 GB RAM
• Storage: 256 GB available space minimum, recommend 1TB+
